Q: iCal changes entries

Dear community, I hope I can find some help here.

True iCal I mangage a couple of calendars for my employees. There working schedules are synced true iCloud with iPhones, iPads and other Apple devices.

Every employee has his own agenda (calendar). So this makes 8 different calendars. There working schedule is a repeating schedule variating between 2 and 5 days. They are set as a full day entry because the working hours are always the same.

Because they all have fixed working days, I've created a calendar (named after the employee) for every employee and entered the entries (name of the employee) as repeating on different days. For example, employee on works on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Employee 2 works on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday... So I've created there schedule like this: New full day activity, repeating on the days they work. I don't wan't any reminders so I set the reminders to none. I did this for all my employees. They can choose to subscribe to there calendar or to everyones.

Now there are 2 problems. The first one, I've set the reminders to none, but It keeps changing itself so I keep getting a reminder everyday for every employee. When I change the activity reminder back to none it resets itself... Thats annoying.

Next problem is a bigger one. Sometimes an employee wants a day of or takes a holiday... Which is normal. I change the all day activity from "employee 1" to "employee 1: free". Because its a repeating activity iCal asks me if I want to change this activity everywhere or just this one. I choose just this entry. After some time, iCal resets the entry and deletes the word free from it, so its just a repeating entry like all the rest of them. This is extremely annoying because I can't keep an overview on who works when.

I'm having this problem for a long time now, last week I deleted all there calendars and started over... In the resent years a lot changed so I thought a fresh start would solve the problem, but it didn't.

Here are some screenshots of the iCal setup:

I hope someone can help me solve this problem because my schedules getting messed up.

Greetings,

Jonas Smets
