Q: Magic mouse and Mac Mini 2009

Hi all,

I recently got a used Magic Mouse from a friend (he has a new one from his new iMac) and I am trying to connect it to my Mac Mini 2009 (early)

If I am correct the Magic Mouse needs a Minimum of Bluetooth 2.1. According to my mac specs I do have 2.1 Bluetooth.

But somehow my mac mini is not even finding the mouse, even when put into discovery mode.

Does anybody here have any ideas? Is it even compatible?
