I would like to combine a group of icons on the home screen into a "folder". They are icons created from a specific vendor by adding different webpages to the home screen. My purpose to use less icons on the home screen but still be able to access a website quicker than typing it in every time.

Press and hold one of the icons on your iPad's home screen for a second or two and they should start to shake ; then drag one of the icons that you want to put into a folder over and directly on top of one of the other icons that you want in the folder and when you release it you should get a folder with those two in it (or if you don't release it and keep holding the icon then after a second or so the folder should open and you can place the icon e.g. whether it goes before or after the other icon) ; you can then drag further apps/icons into the folder ; press the home button when you've finished to stop the icons shaking
