Q: Messages used to appear in banner now I have to tap productivity to see meassages...what happened?

messages badge has disappeared from banner i now have to use productivity icon to read messages what happened?

iPhone 4S, iOS 8.1.3

Check your notification settings. Settings>Notifications>Messages. Make sure it's set to Banner.

What do you mean 'Productivity Icon'? Is that an app?
