Q: My IPOD had an old email address for the ID...how do I change it to the current Apple ID?

You should be able to sign out of your Apple ID by going to Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on your Apple ID and hit Sign Out. If you were signed into iCloud and need to sign out because of the Find My Device feature then you will need to enter in that password for that Apple ID to get out of it. If you have changed your Apple ID and did not create a new one, you can change it back to the old one to sign out of iCloud.
