What are these processes on my activity monitor?

I went through my Activity Monitor to check if my processes were safe, and all of them were (according to google search lol) but I cant find what these following processes are:

ARE THESE PROCESSES SAFE? CAN YOU CHECK IF YOU HAVE THESE PROCESSES TOO?

1) AppleSpell.service // User: Jay

2) kernel_task // User: root

3) KernelEventAgent // User: root

4) Google Chrome // User: Jay

5) Google Chrome Helper // User: Jay

6) iTunes Helper // User: Jay

7) Quick Look Helper // User: Jay

All were " Intel (64 bit) " for their " Kind " (i dont know if it helps to say that or anything)

Note: I know that AppleSpell is a MacOSX process, but I can't find what "AppleSpell.service" is

Also, I saw that some processes names had two copies of themselves, one under the user " root " and the other by " Jay "

IS IT ODD TO HAVE TWO PROCESSES OF THE SAME NAME, BUT UNDER TWO DIFFERENT USERS?

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

No, it is not at all odd to have two processes of the same name under different users.

My system shows all of the processes you list except for the two related to Chrome (which I didn't install). My AppleSpell process doesn't show the ".service" part in Activity Monitor, but it is in one of the file paths for open files. The name difference may be due to different system release levels; I'm running 10.10.2, while your profile says 10.7.5.
