What generation are my iPods?

I am trying to figure out what iPods I got. I am trying to figure out what generations they all are. I got an iPod touch that is a 64 gb, and it has on it iOS version 5.1.1. I'd like to know what generation it is. I'd also like to know what is my newest iPod touch. It has iOS version 8.1.3. If anyone knows what generation my iPods are, can you please let me know, thank you.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), This is my newest laptop computer.

If no camera the 64 GB one is a 3G and those can only go to 5.1.1. To get apps

Starting when iOS 7 was released, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)

App Store: Downloading Older Versions of Apps on iOS - Apple Club

App Store: Install the latest compatible version of an app

You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.
