Feb 2, 2015 12:50 AM in response to stixen84by stixen84 ,
My connection seems to be working at the moment, before it was dropping out every 5 SECS, after doing some random steps it seems to be workingMy steps were:
Removed the network configuration and preference files as outlined here:
http://osxdaily.com/2014/10/25/fix-wi-fi-problems-os-x-yosemite/
From there I went into network preferences and deleted my wifi connection and then renewed it and joined my network, it still did not connect to the internet after doing this.
I then turned off the WIFI and then decided to reset my router by turning it on and off.
Returned to the mac and reconnected to the wifi.
It has been connected for 20mins now an no issues.
Hopefully this lasts and helps someone else

Feb 2, 2015 10:08 PM in response to stixen84by stixen84 ,★HelpfulTried another thing
turning blue tooth off and then reconnecting wifi.
Its is stable again even after restarting mac
I feel this is just another temporary fix rather than a solution particularly seeing as i NEED bluetooth for my wireless keyboard.

Little update:Also tried changing the wifi broadcast channel on my router,
Accessing the router (address found usually under the router eg http://10.0.0.1 etc)
Changed the channel a number of times, restarting the Mac each time.
After restarting for the final time Ive found that the wifi was still not working.
Turned bluetooth off, turned wifi off then on and then turned bluetooth back on.On each restart after I did the last step no more drop outs..
Hope this helps.

Feb 2, 2015 10:55 PM in response to stixen84by alexanderrutkovskiy,I feel you can delete preferences, turn-off bluetooth, reinstall yosemite with or without cleaning the drives, renew dhcp lease, turn on and turn off your wifi connection, reload route, run assistant and many-many wonderful things. = with same success you can change your background image - just waste your time. It may start to work for 1-3 hour or even more, but BELIEVE, later one - once you restart your computer e.g. the problem will appear again.
Personally I have noticed once I restart my wifi connection it will continue working for a shorter period than before and so on = it drops every now and then.
Turn off your computer and leave it in a dry and cold place for some weeks or months maybe until this fancy system will be workable. Or come back to Mavericks if possible - it helps.

Feb 2, 2015 11:19 PM in response to alexanderrutkovskiyby stixen84 ,haha yeah thats my feelings exactly.
I didnt trust my instincts and decided to upgrade to yosemite (even though i had no problems with maverick) and now its frustrating as **** when things dont work.
Reverting to maverick is my absolute last option, and i just dont want to (or think i should have to) because I have alot of files to backup and everything layed out the way I want to. -
