10.10.2 Wifi Sync to iPhone

Since updating to 10.10.2 and IOS 8.1.3 iTunes does not seem able to find my iPhone for syncing purposes. The enable wifi-sync option is checked and I can use the USB lead ok,

Anyone else seen this. Not sure if it's 10.10.2 or IOS or both which are the problem. In every other respect wifi is working fine in laptop and access is via Apple Airport Time Machine.

It also seems like wireless tethering is not possible now.
