iCloud Login issues

After successful login to iCloud, I get a message "verification pending". I might have deleted my verification mail and the resend verification code link is not working. What do I do?

iPhone 5, iOS 8.1.3

I understand that you may have either deleted your verification email or you never received it. It sounds like you cannot resent another link either. To help rectify this situation and get this account verified, I would suggest working through the steps in the attached article.
