Q: Error while downloading iTunes version 12

Have just attempted to download the new version of iTunes, from auto prompt from Apple, and continue to receive the following error messages for both auto and manual download:

The procedure entry point CMBlockBufferCopyDataBytes could not be located in the dynamic link library CoreMedia.dll

AND then:

iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes

Error 7 (Windows error 127)

I cannot even access iTunes from my desktop link as it displays the same two messages.

If you are having an issue with installing the update for iTunes for Windows, I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article -

If you can't install or update iTunes for Windows - Apple Support
