Yosemite 10.10.2 update for Mac Pro broke Apple keyboard compatibility - how to downgrade?

After installing 10.10.2 on my 2013 Mac Pro, my Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad no longer works. Firstly, this is outrageous. Anybody testing this update should have noticed immediately because the system no longer works! No keyboard means no system. Secondly, how do I downgrade to back out this update? Apple, please fix this problem now - it is a serious bug.

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

Or you can use your Apple ID to register with this site and go the Apple BugReporter. Supposedly you will get an answer if you submit feedback.

Have you tried other USB ports?

Hopefully you have a back up and without a keyboard, you won't be able to revert easily.

Revert to a Previous OS X

Revert to Snow Leopard

Revert Yosemite to Mavericks

If you do revert, I'd use Setup Assistant to restore your data. This process takes a while, so do it when you won't need the computer for several hours, based on my experience.
