iOS 8.1.3 auto rotation non functional

Have you checked Orientation Lock to see if it is locked? Open Control Center by swiping up with one finger starting from below the bottom of the Home screen. The Orientation Lock control is at the far right of the top row -- looks like a lock partially surrounded by a circular arrow. If it is on there will be a similar icon in the menu bar. Also note that not all screens rotate; the home screen on a 5s for example does not rotate.

I Don't think it's orientation lock because I'm having the same issue wirh my iPad Air 2. I also checked and confirmed that orientation lock was off.

When I updated my iPad mini air to iOS 8.1.3 my auto rotation also stopped. The lock is off, and I have tried putting it on and off, with the same result. I am permanently in landscape orientation!

Any suggestions?
