I'm trying to learn how to print photos from an iPhone 5c. I select a photo, hit the Share and Print icons, then "Select printer." I have two HP printers on my network, but only one of them appears in the window on my iPhone. The printer that shows up is the newer one: HP Officejet 6600, which is a true wireless device. The one that does not show up (HP PhotoSmart 6280) connects to my wireless network with an Ethernet cable that plugs into my AirPort Time Machine router.
I went into my printer preferences on my MacBook Pro and found I had not marked the PhotoSmart printer for sharing. I corrected that setting, but the printer still does not show up for printing duty on the iPhone. I'm sure I may have to consult HP to fix the problem, but I thought I'd start here. Suggestions, anyone?
