How do I delete audio (music) files from my Iphone to free up space to be able to run the IOS 8 update??

Note that this article is only for music items downloaded from the iTunes Store. In order to remove items that you have synced into your device from your computer, you will need to connect back to the computer you used to add the music, uncheck the items you want removed, then sync to confirm the removal of these items.
