Using iMac G3 speakers with iPhone and iPod?

my iMac G3 broke last week, so I gutted it and made it into a cat bed. That left me with a ton of spare parts. The speakers on the iMac used to sound really good! Is it possible to reuse those speakers with a device like an iPhone or iPod?
