How do I set my sync to be done at a specific time and/or interval?

Mac mini, OS X Yosemite (10.10), syncing calendars

'nearly instantly' is why I asked the question. In a perfect world that is the case but there's many factors that can cause your sync to fail or not occur at all. By setting a sync schedule you can at least be assured that you attempted to get the latest shared calendar before the meeting. Am I making sense?


Anyway, I assumed that it wasn't possible but it should be. There must be a heavy load on the servers and network constantly syncing.
