I am having a problem trying to set up an appointment with someone at the Genius Bar. Is there anyway to do this online?

I agree 100%. I am trying to set up an appointment to get the battery changed since Apple decided we can get the battery for half price. Of course they caused this problem. I tried on line but none of the choices were convenient for me. I could not advance the date. I chatted with a representative and he told me he couldn’t see more than one week either. I happen to be up at midnight so I tried. No luck. When I got up the next morning I immediately tried. There were only two appointments available for the whole week. How could that be possible? It appears some people saw more than a week at a time. I have always been a whiole-hearted supporter of Apple but this fiasco may be the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. Happy
