I just got a refurbed Apple iPad 4th generations OS8; in the AppStore, all the purchased apps on my mac mini running Yosemite show up in "Purchased", and so on my iPad, and I was able to download these: i.e. iWork apps, etc. to my iPad. All except, "Garageband", which does not show up. Tried a few ways to download, and couldn't w/o purchasing. After discussing this with the Apple Store, in Metairie, LA, they say I should be able to download w/o buying, although $4.99 is not a large price to pay. Any idea why, or do I "indeed" need to buy it for the iPad, although it is on my "Master Mac", MacMini. Thanks
