How do I activate an iPhone 4 which states "Please insert a SIM Card"? I did a reset and now I can't get the phone to activate.

No, the iPhone 4 doesn't have a SIM Card for Verizon wireless network. It doesn't have a SIM card slot. I forgot to mention that earlier.
See this thread. iPhone 4 Message:SIM Required (in phone that has no SIM card slot) There seems to be an issue with a Verizon iPhone 4 and trying to reset/activate/ with Verizon. I would follow that thread and add a comment to it so others know you are experiencing this issue.
