Whenever I try to copy/paste an XLS file in numbers icloud, the file gets really messy. Data gets allocated to different cells compared to the original file. I have been using both Google Chrome and Firefox for windows, but have had no luck. Any advice on how to deal with this problem?

I have the same problem. It looks like it only pastes every other row and skips a row in between.
This used to work fine, as I would use it all the time, broke sometime in the last two months.
I've yet to find a good work around. (Pasting single rows works, but that just isn't efficient, I'll switch to Office web apps before I do that).
I'm having this exact problem too. Highly frustrating!
