Q: iPad Air screen brightness issue

My ipad air has started having an issue where even though the brightness is turned up all the way it only appears to be at about half brightness. I've tried restarting it as well as updating it to the most recent update. Any ideas on what could be causIng the problem? It makes it difficult to use in the light.

Hi Pacer36,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like the brightness is too low. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

Change the brightness setting in iOS - Apple Support
If Auto-Brightness isn’t working as expected, you can reset it. Just tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.
