When I import my Korean music onto iTunes, the title is in some alien language.
The quality and everything else is normal but the title/artist/album are weird.
It reads properly on my phone but not on iTunes. Could someone please help?

For starters the alien language doesn't happen to be Korean which one would expect Korean music to have, does it? 🙂

I use an old iTunes so things may be different on yours. With mine I can go to Advanced > convert mp3 tags and change the text coding. It is possible something that was labeled in Korean might need a different text encoding set.
Thanks. Unfortunately it does not work. I've tried changing my language to Korean and then restarting iTunes, but it still shows up in an alien language. Do you know any other way to change this?
Select the songs in iTunes.
Right click > Convert ID3 tags and select v2.3.
As Limnos suggested, is this "alien" language Korean?
I see that option but it doesn't work. I press OK after chooseing v2.3 but then when I right click and Convert ID3 tags again, it goes back to "none", as if I had never clicked v2.3.
You only need do it once. I believe it defaults back to "none" each time you open that window but they have already been set to 2.3.
Have you tried re-installing iTunes?
