How do I share a copy of an unfinished iPhoto project with a friend?

How do I share an unfinished iphoto project with a friend? I have done the photo part of the book....she is the text person!

You have to give her a copy of the iPhoto Library; copy the library to an external disk and she can work on the library from there.

Delete all photos from the copy of the iPhoto library, that are not needed for the book.

The external disk needs to be formatted MacOS Extended (Journaled) and the "Ignore Ownership flag" needs to be set, as described in this linked document: iPhoto: Sharing libraries among multiple users

You can only share an iPhoto library, if your friend has the same iPhoto version as you, or a newer version.

Remember if she has a newer version of iPhoto than you once she adds the text you won't be able to open that library without upgrading your iPhoto the same version.
