only e-mails received today show in my inbox after updating to iOS 8.1.3. I have a 5S.

I just updated to iOS 8.1.3 yesterday. I have 2 active e-mail accounts on my phone that I use. One is GMail and the Other Outlook for work. The GMail account works fine, and is listed as the default e-mail account. The Outlook account is the problem. When I go to my Inbox, it will only show e-mails received today (new and previously viewed). It will not show e-mails sitting in my Inbox from yesterday or days before. I checked the settings and it shows it's supposed to synch 30 days.

iPhone 5s, iOS 8

I closed the email app, then reset the phone. Nothing changed - problem still persists. In my folders where I store e-mail after I've read them in Exchange, those folders show e-mails from today and yesterday back 30 days. It's just the Inbox that seems to be the problem.

Try to:

1. Close the email app - the reset the phone - no data loss Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

2. If that does not work you may want to talk to your IT about deleting and then readding the account

E-mails are listed from yesterday, last week, etc. in my Inbox when logging into Outlook/Exchange from my laptop - just not on my iPhone now after the update to iOS 8.1.3.

Remove the account and then re add it.

Can you check your exchange account on a computer or the web to see if the prior emails are still in there?
