Hey guys, hopefully someone will have an answer or solution to my problem.
For the last month or so, my iPhone5c has been turning itself off, even when fully charged, and then does not turn on when the power button is pressed, but only when its feels like it ( basically i have to sit there and hold down every button i can until it powers on, takes approx 5mins)...
Theres no problem with the function of the phone when on, just this problem of it turning on and off.
I took it to the Genius Bar today and apparently the battery is fine and i have the option of paying £199 for it to get a hardware check and fix, and to be replaced with a new one, orrrr, chase up the place where i bought it, unfortunately this is PHONES4U, who are now bust, so no joy there (unless someone knows more on that?!..
My phone was bought October 2013 so is over its warranty, and my upgrade is due 2016...
This is an internal fault with the phone and not caused by misuse or damage by myself...so surely this is a problem on APPLES behalf??
Any info or help would be great!... i couldnt handle going through 2015 with my phone turning off every 5mins and not being able to restart it.
