Q: Activation issue

Ok so first of all my 4s decided to start "searching" for network even though it has been working perfect. I tried resetting network and nothing happened. I did a full reset and when it came to activate it, I get the "your iphone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable" I tried several times but still nothing. I checked the service status and they are all green. someone I know has an identical 4s and network and hers is find. What do you think it is?

iPhone 4S, iOS 8.1.2

Your antivirus or firewall may be blocking access to Apple's activation servers.

Otherwise, usually that message means that your phone was jailbroken, or the computer you used to restore it had previously been used to jailbreak some iOS device (not necessarily the phone with the problem). This corrupted the network database on the computer. You will have to fix the hosts file on your computer.

I Used a the hotspot from my friends iPhone and nothing. I used a trusted wifi that I had used many times before and same outcome. Unable to use iTunes to connect because I do not have it. And it is also locked to one network

Then the phone was most likely hacked or jailbroken. You can try taking it to an Apple store and see if they can activate it.
