Q: Notifications tones play incorrectly since update

I updated my iPhone 6 last night before bed so I didn't notice a problem until I was out of class this evening. All of my notifications are the default sounds, not my customed notification tones. When viewed in settings I see the following:

i I have tried restarting the device and changing the tones. If I click on the downloaded tone the correct sound does play, just not when the notification comes through.

Any ideas what's going on?
