No, you are mistaken. No iPhone has a front facing flash. No iPhone has ever had a front facing flash, although now there is the ability, in software, to use the screen backlights as a flash.

On an iPhone 6 above the top speaker is the proximity sensor, and beside it is one of the three microphones (main microphone is at the bottom, one noise cancelling microphone on the rear, and the third by the front top speaker slot). The iPhone 6 color does not change that as all iPhone 6 have the exact same hardware. On a black bezel phone the proximity sensor and 3rd mic are just difficult to see.

Even this is old question I have same question, because I just notice that my 2 daughters iPhone 6 gold has front flash. I have iPhone6 black and this doesn' t have flash in front. And all of these iPhones are model 6 not 6S. They all bought before 6S even exist. I wonder how many are these models? When I googled some iPhone 6 pix there is white models with small flash above internal speaker and black iPhones doesn' t have.
