Q: Warning beep while upgrading Yosemite
I was upgrading Yosemite10.10.2 from 10.10 via App Store in my MacBook(late 2008).
After downloading process, it had asked me to restart it and I pressed OK, getting into system upgrading mode.
Then it told me that the downloaded package was maybe damaged while downloading, it had to stop the upgrading process.
Then it restarted, the low-pitched three warning beep burst out again and again when the white screen showed.
I've tried to reset NVRAM, but it doesn't work.
What can I do now?
MacBook, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

I'd tried using Recovery Mode and it worked!
After repairing the permission, it came back as 10.10.
But I still want to know what does that low-pitched three warning beep mean.
