Feb 4, 2015 4:24 AM in response to akuan0624by Barney-15E,★HelpfulIf you don't want to be able to restore to a previous version of a document you edited, then you could delete it. I've never done it, so I'm not sure of the results besides losing all previous version information.
I'm not sure why it would get so large, though.
Does the list command in Terminal give you the same results:
ls -alh /
Just copy and paste the above command into Terminal. It will list the contents of your root folder. Look for .DocumentRevisions-V100 line and the size listed before the date.

Feb 4, 2015 4:30 PM in response to akuan0624by Barney-15E,★HelpfulI don't know how to disable it. Here's something I googled: http://osxdaily.com/2012/07/11/disable-auto-save-and-versions-in-mac-os-x/
It is supposed to just store changed "chunks," but I don't know enough to determine what size a "chunk" should be.
Seems like yours is out of control. Perhaps deleting the folder and making it start over might make it more manageable.

Feb 4, 2015 6:30 PM in response to Barney-15Eby akuan0624,After deleting the entire folder, the problem is solved. However, I think there is a flaw in the "Versions" and should be some kind of upper limit set.
Thanks a lot !!!

Were you editing that PDF constantly?

Feb 4, 2015 8:11 PM in response to William Lloydby akuan0624,Yes, those are PDF "books" I collected. Therefore, the accumulated amount wound be enormous ...
Maybe I should discard "preview" and try another PDF viewer that does not activate "Version".
