Q: USB Apple Keyboard stopped working after Yosemite patch
iMac 27 mid 2010 (USB Keyboard with wireless mouse)
Hi there, 1 week ago ive installed a patch for Yosemite. After instaling the patch, when i restart the computer my USB keyboard stopped working and the op sys was looking for a Bluetooth keyboard that timed out after 4 or 5 minutes. During this time, i could not use the USB keyboard at all. After the time out of the bluetooth devices, i could unplug and plug back the USB keyboard and voila, keyboard back to life.
Yesterday, ive instaled a new patch for Yosemite and guess what? iMac is searching for the bluetooth keyboard but this time it does not time out at all, it simply there until he finds one, with luck, i still have my bluetooth keyboard and i managed to get my imac back to life after forced to conect the bluetooth keyboard to it.
But now, there is a nice problem, my USB keyboard does nto work at all, i have a macbook pro as well, tryed to plug the usb keyboard and is totally deal. Even on a PC is dead.
Anyone facing problems with Yosemite and USB keyboards and crazy patches that apple is shipping out on weekly basis?
iMac (27-inch Mid 2010), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)
