All of a sudden, my I pHone 5s has stopped sending alerts sounds when I get emails. I used to have the Old Horn sound. Even though it is checked off, it does not sound. what has happened? I am up to date on all updates.

If you're not getting any alerts on sounds on your iPhone, then I'd like you to check some settings on your iPhone. First, please check it is not in Do Not Disturb, and second please check it is not silenced.

thanks, but that's not the issue. All is good with what you recommended. All sounds used to work until the last IOS8 update, now both my phone and my husband's has stopped with email alerts. We get text alerts, phone rings with calls, all other sounds work but email. Any other suggestions?
