Why does iTunes play 1 minute of a song and skip to the next song?

Since I updated to the latest version of iTunes, when I play any new music added to the library, it will play 1 minute of the song and skip to the next song; doing the same thing. I clicked on get info for the song, and the start/stop time is correct. Playing these files anywhere else do not pose a problem, and my older music in my library (>50 GB of music) do not have a problem.
