Hi people,
I have looked all over the place. But the Wake on Lan option is just simply not showing up in System Preferences -> Energy Saver.
No tabs, nothing of any sort, option is simply not there.
This is on a recent mac mini (late 2014).
Any ideas or suggestions?
I'm I the first one with this problem?

What spec is your mac?
mac mini mid 2010
version 10.10.3
When I shutdown the mac the link will switch to shutdown so I magic packet couldn't be received by the mac.

Is this not the same as Wake On LAN?
I tried "schakel sluimerstand uit voor netwerktoegang" a few times but it didn't work. I have a dutch version installed and translation from english to dutch for network option is very bad the most of the time. If that option is on or off. When the Mac mini is turned off the link is down.
When you say that your Mac is Turned Off do you mean that it is powered off? If so then the only way to access it is to switch it on.
Wake for Network Access will only work when it is in sleep mode.
Yes, I don't choice sleep but turn off. Normally a system can be turned on with WOL. Every PC can so I thought it will work with a Mac to.
