I just used it to reset my diradmin password on my Yosemite server. It seemed to be happy.
It would be easier to verify if we still had access to Workgroup Manager or if I had a replica server unfortunately I have neither and will have to assume at this point getting no error at the end of the second script means I have successfully changed the diradmin password.
