Lightroom - Aperture Auto-Enhance Preset

Let me say from the start that I use both Aperture and Lightroom. Each product is good at some things and not so good at others.

Right, now that is out of the way, does anyone know if, or anyone have, a Lightroom preset that works in the same way as the excellent Auto-enhance feature on Aperture. I've been looking around and can't locate one and nothing I've come across comes close. I admit I've only tried free presets but am happy to buy one IF it is exactly the same as Auto-enhance within Aperture (I'm reluctant to buy when confidence is low that it'll work).

I'd like to be able to import images into both with the same, or similar, auto-enhance being applied - before I then fine tune.

Can anyone please help me?!?

Agree completely - The current Aperture 3.6 "enhance" is the same as the current iPhoto "enhance". And no doubt this one-click image enhancement will carry over to the soon to be released "Photos". My suggestion is that if you like the Aperture "enhance" button - go ahead and apply it to your images after import into Aperture. But also make original import copies without applying auto "enhance" and try to match the "enhanced" image histogram with your own various and preferred Aperture brick adjustments. "Enhance" really only opens up the image histogram midtones and shadows and flattens the blown highlights - and also applies a color temperature adjustment. In the long run, it is better not to use "enhance", but to build your own preferred image adjustments - whether in lightroom or aperture.
