Hello FinalCut Pro Community

Every time i try exporting my video, no matter if its to mail,dvd,youtube,facebook, or anything I get an error message (com.apple.Compressor.CompressorKit.ErrorDomain error -1.)

besides when i try to export i get the rainbow spin thing and then nothing happens

Ive been searching these forms and people been saying it might be frames or a corrupted file, but i cant figure out how to find which one it might be

Hey Tom,

i finally found a post that answed my question and yes that is my problem I didnt have the latest software update. For future references do you have to have the latest updates to export or can you be a few updates behind?

YYou don't have to have he latest but sometimes there's a major change, especially with an OS update that leaves older versions behind. FCP is particularly susceptible to this because it's so tightly integrated with core system software like AV Foundation.
