progress barr hanging after reboot following migration

Hi all I have just tried to migrate from a mac pro 3.1 to my new 1tb fusion 5k imac and have rebooted the machine and the white status barr hangs continuously...half way no movement for two hours... so in hind site I want to factory re set my new machine and manual transfer data over.

Can anyone tell me how to factory reset a 1tb fusion drive 5k imac as its two drives..

do I simpley hold cmd +r on reboot format the use disk utility to format the mackintosh drive or is their anything else involved......

I understand that you would like to erase and re-install Mac OS X, but are concerned there may be extra steps due to the Fusion Drive. There is nothing special or extra you need to do to erase your computer because your Mac has a Fusion Drive.
