Question

Since upgrading to iOS 8.1.3 I can't see the AirPlay icon on iPad 2

IIs there a way to get AirPlay icon on 8.1.3 it worked fine on 8.1.2

iPad 2, iOS 8.1.3

Hello there Phillip,

If sounds like you updated to iOS 8.1.3 and now do not see the AirPlay icon in the Control Center. I would run through the troubleshooting and setup verification. It should get that rectified for you:

Resolve issues with AirPlay and AirPlay Mirroring from iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

i have the same issue since upgrading to iOS 8.1.3 on an iPad 4. The troubleshooting link has not resolved the issue. the AirPlay icon has completely disappeared. is it a bug in the iOS?

I have the same problem with an iPad 2 and an iPhone 5 ***, both running 8.1.3. Neither device shows the airplay icon. Have gone through every step in the suggested article, and all of the settings are correct. Will there be an update correcting this bug?
