iPod touch 5th Generation has been disabled for 23 million minutes. I followed the instructions to restore it through my MacBook Air and when it finished it said "an unknown error occurred (3014)"

I hadn't used my iPod for a couple of days, when I turned it back on it says it's been disabled for 23 million plus minutes. I've tried erasing and restoring it through my Mac and it when it finishes it says "This iPod could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (3014)."

I used both of these as references to try to fix this thing. I have had it less than a year, a product this expensive should not be giving me so much grief. PLEASE HELP!
