Feb 6, 2015 9:53 AM in response to razmee209by anypats,I just tested sending a contact from my iPhone 6 to a friend's Samsung phone and it worked just fine. She was able to open the contact I sent and she then had options to import it to her phone or cancel.
For the OP, I'm not sure why you are not getting the contact info. You should see just the name of the contact and not all of the info. Are you getting that or nothing at all?

Feb 6, 2015 8:53 PM in response to razmee209by ychandu,User guide says that it is possible to send contact info via SMS. However the message area is not populated with contact name when I click on Share Contact. It is shown blank as if I clicked on new message.

Feb 7, 2015 5:55 AM in response to sbermanby ychandu,HI,
Everything above is correct except that the contact name Emergency is not shown. The message area appears blank.
Anybody using iPhone 5s has seen this problem?
