Is it possible to open a recording I made on http://web.mac.com/robfurlong/iWeb/site/Telegraph Reminiscenses.html

I made a recording of a person now dead in conversation a while back and posted it on http://web.mac.com/robfurlong/iWeb/site/Telegraph%20Reminiscenses.html Now it seems that I am unable to access the iWeb site.

Are there any ways I could recover this recording? I have an iMac11.2 (mid 2010) and OS X 10.9.5 operating system.My internet provider is via a BT Hub3-TNHH .I have Safari and Chrome as my search engines.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Unless you have another copy of it, no. Apple closed that domain and has now deleted all of the data on it; discontinuing iWeb didn't itself affect already-created iWeb sites.

Thanks for taking the time to answer.Perhaps I missed out at the time of closure but secretly am a bit disappointed with Apple

Niel Thanks for taking time to reply.

I have dug out my old hard drive which I used to back up in those days.I used iDisk and "Backup" with the orange umbrella icon.I cannot seem to access this either.Was all this material wiped by Apple too?

iDisk was discontinued long before iWeb was. 😟

Did you ever use Backup to make a local backup?
