Feb 6, 2015 10:27 AM in response to MikeYohby my ginger,Hi MikeYoh. You might have to go to you network preferences and delete all your setting and also delete WIFI in keychain access, restart and reinter them. Here is some help for this.http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202222 andhttp://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202068 alsohttps://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-6411 Hope some of this helps. also try moving the Macbook closer to the router to see if this helps as the wifi card may have a signal strength problem.

Mar 3, 2015 5:07 AM in response to MikeYohby Rosies's,I have spent a week trying to solve a similar problem with my Macbook on 10.6.8. My router came up on network search but wouldnt accept the password apart from the occasional time, then dropped connection when it went to sleep.
If you have a dual band router my solution was to "unsync" 2.5ghz and 5ghz. I can now distinguish between the two on network search and can log into either. Seemed to be confusing Macbook. Then I put the 5ghz at the top of my wifi preferences so it always chose that.
These instructions are for BT Hub 4 and 5 but may help.
