ios 8.1.3 apps crash on start

restoring won't solve your issue don't bother wasting your time. I've done it twice. the fault lies with the poor programming of 8.1.3. nothing we can do bar waiting for Apple to address the situation (unlikely)

the issue is though that despite developers updating their apps their is a fundamental fault in the OS so whatever you do will not solve the problem. apps that are crashing for me have even subsequently been updated but STILL crash. Apple needs to fix this

And your basis for that conclusion is?

the basis for that argument is that particular apps that are crashing on 8.1.3 have been updated SINCE they started crashing. If the new Versions still crash how is it the fault of the developer? They can only work with what they are given. if the constant crashing was happening on a older iPhone model I could be more forgiving but I have the latest model

Maybe because the developer has bugs in the app(s). Not unheard of at all
