Purchasing Apple Care for a second round
I've had Apple Care since I first purchased my laptop, but my coverage expires in 6 months, and I want to know if I can buy another plan to cover my laptop again?

You can not purchase AppleCare for a second time on the same product.
Hi Niel Here is what apple says. Read it all. https://www.apple.com/support/products/mac.html After the three years is up you cannot renew.
