Im having major shut down issues with my 4s since the 8.1.3 update! My phone is 3 days old, refib from Sprint and the said the update wont hurt but my phone keeps shutting off between 20-40% battier life! Plus as like others my battery drains down fast and then will shut off like I said at 40% to 20% of power left! Can I downgrade? Need help and thanks!

To the OP, I would ask Sprint who does their refurbish on the phone. Do they warranty the device?
Thank you! Yea Sprint said they refurb. from Apple! But who knows and this is the second one they gave me which is crazy that both are doing it! Both phones had 6.1 ios on them and they did the update to 8.1.3 and both are crashing out the same way!
You can try restoring the phone as new, not from a backup and then test the device without any additional content loaded on it. If it works okay then, try restoring your backup again. If it should begin to fail again, then there is something wrong with your backup. If it does not operate correctly after the restore as new, then take it back for a hardware issue.
I was not aware that Apple refurbished devices for the carriers. That is news to me.
Yea i have no idea who does the refurb honestly! Just crazy that 2 phones did the same thing! Ill give the restoring another shot and see if that helps, but if I do that it'll still be running the 8.1.3 right?
That is correct. It restores to the latest iOS.
