My iPhone screen keeps blanking out although I would still get notifications and if people ring my phone I could still answer even though the screen is black, is there any solution to this?
iPhone 5, iOS 8.1.3
Reset the phone - no data loss
Hold down home/sleep button until you see the Apple logo and then release and allow normal boot
If the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond to touch - Apple Support
If that does not help - consider taking the phone to an Apple store for servicing
