How to hold one long note in garageband?

For science research I need to make a track of just one note (ex middle c) being held for approx 2 min. I cannot figure out how to do this in garageband.. The piano notes fade out after a second and if you try to loop it it pulses. Any help is very appreciated!! thank you!!!

If you happen to also know how to create a sine wave visual from this tone, that would REALLY help. Thanks

I don't know of any piano that can hold a note that long. Does it need to be a piano note? Can't you use an organ or a wind instrument, a flute or a trumpet?

Then you can simply adjust the length of the note in the piano roll editor.
