My MacBook trackpad and keyboard do not work when running Windows 7

A few months back, my MacBooks hard drive failed on me. So, my mac has been sitting in the corner, unused and forgotten. Recently, I have been playing around with computers and their insides, and I found out that the hard drive in my MacBook is just a normal laptop hard drive. I decided to take a hard drive from one of my broken laptops <screen broke>, and put it inside my MacBook. I plugged it in, booted it up, and it booted just fine.

It had me go through a few pages,(the "Start Windows normally or in Safe Mode" pages), and the enter key worked just fine for that. It booted up normally, as a computer should, and all was good. When it got to the log-in menu, I try to type my password, and nothing happens. The mouse won't move at this point either.

This was not done using BootCamp, so I can't get BootCamp Drivers, but is there another way I can get the keyboard and trackpad to work? I want to be able to use my MacBook again, even if it is Windows, because it is a powerful laptop.

Thanks for your time!

Even if the Windows disk came from a PC (and BC was not used), to support Apple hardware the drivers you need can be found at Boot Camp: System requirements for Microsoft Windows operating systems - Apple Support as appropriate for your specific Mac model/year. You can download them to a USB2 Flash drive, and unzip them on the USB. Once available, run setup.exe in the Bootcamp folder from the USB and verify in Control Panel -> Device Manager that you do not have any unknown devices.

Be aware that native Mac disks are formatted as GUID Partition disks, while most PC disks are MBR. If W8.1 is the OS, you may have a GPT disk, which you can verify by installing GPT Fdisk (http://sourceforge.net/projects/gptfdisk/) or use Windows native Diskpart utility. Please also see http://www.rodsbooks.com/gdisk/index.html.
